Restricted Items in Aeromexico Flights


Aeromexico (Mexico) has become one of the main airlines in the world due to its excellent services and attention to its passengers. In Aeromexico (Mexico) everything is planned and organized in advance for your flight to be comfortable and safe.  For that reason there are certain items that are not allowed onboard. Below you will find the list of items that you cannot include in your baggage when flying by Aeromexico (Mexico).

Restricted items in Aeromexio Flights

·         Baggage Only Items:

Any type of martial arts weapons
Articles concealing sharp objects
Baseball bats, pool cues, golf clubs, hockey sticks, cricket bats, skis
Bows and Arrows
Corkscrews
Cutthroat razors
Electric Cattle Prods
Enamel paint (maximum 1L per passenger)
Harpoons and any other under water weapons
Heat welding items
Leather whips
Liquid, solid or gem alcohol (maximum 250ml per passenger)
Metal nail files
Mountain Climbing spikes, ice peaks, punches
Nail clippers with metal nail file
Narrow razors, replacement razor blades, knives, penknives, letter openers, daggers, foils, sabers, swords, axes, cutters, machetes and similar, scalpels
Oxigen tanks (with pressure higher/lower than 40 PSI)
Pistols, revolvers, rifles, fare guns, shotguns, Beebee gungs, pellet guns, air rifles and pistols, cartridges
Portable electric drills and saws
Scissors
Toys in the form of weapons or that resemble weapons
Truncheons, flexible handle lead batons, catcher’s mitts and similar
Vinyl paint (maximum 5L per passenger)
Welding gun torches
Wheel chairs powered by solid battery motors

·         Carry-On and Checked Baggage

Acetones (maximum 250ml per passenger)
Disposable razors
Dry-ice carbon dioxide (maximum 2kg per passenger)
Essential medicines even without medical prescription (maximum 120ml on flights to the United States)
Hair curling irons (heat or hydrocarbons)
Liquids, creams and gels for flights from/to/connecting in Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Nicaragua (maximum 2lt per passenger)
Liquids, creams and gels in a sealed, transparent, plastic bag (maximum capacity 1lt with containers holding a maximum of 100ml each) for flights leaving or connecting in China and Japan;  flights to/from/connecting in the United States; flights connecting in Europe and flights leaving Brazil, Canada, Honduras and Peru.
Wines and spirits from 24 to 70gl factory sealed (maximum 4lt per passenger)

·         Forbidden Items:

Acids and corrosives
Alcoholic drinks lacking manufacturer’s brand, with or without label
Butane and propane gas
Carbon dioxide cartridges
Chlorine, poisons and bleaches
Detonator power sources
Disposable or refillable lighters
Electric paralyzers and defensive sprays (like pepper spray or tear gas, etc)
Explosives and hand grenades
Extinguishers
Fireworks and any type of gunpowder
Gasoline and other flammable liquids
Incendiary devices
Insecticides and Kerosene
Insulated packing that contains refrigerated liquid nitrogen
Lamps that produce excessive heat (for skin diving, artistic lighting, etc)
Lighter fluid
Matches
Mercury barometers or industrial thermometers
Percussion caps and detonators
Radioactive materials
Solvents
Spray paint and enamel
Timer Switches
Traffic flares
Wet batteries
Wheel chairs with liquid battery motors

These measures are important because they were developed for your safety. Variations in temperature or pressure, and the aircraft movement could cause problems with the items mentioned above. One of Aeromexico’s main concerns is your safety while flying on its aircrafts. Take care of yourself and others by complying with the standards and enjoy a safe and comfortable flight.
